The site map is a page within a site, which contains an ordered list of hyperlinks (or links) that link directly to each page of the website.

Utility and function of the site map.

The site map is created, as a rule, in two different formats, HTML and XML, as it is called upon to perform two distinct functions. The HTML format is designed to offer visitors an easy browsing experience as each link pointing to a specific page on the site. The XML format is designed for search engine spiders to be able to index your site in a more correct and more efficient. Once created, the two site maps are loaded in the main directory of the site, the HTML is linked to a menu item within our web pages, and the XML must be communicated to the search engines second rules that each of them provides ... eg. Google must be communicated through the service of Google Webmaster Tools.
